Fujii group published a paper.
A research group led by Associate Professor Ritsuko Fujii of Osaka Metropolitan University, together with Dr. Soichiro Seki (JSPS Research Fellow, currently at the Institute for Protein Research, Osaka University) and Dr. A. Agostini, tenure-track researcher at the University of Padua (Italy), has uncovered the highly efficient energy dissipation mechanism of the photosynthetic pigment siphonaxanthin using electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.
This discovery offers new insights into the molecular design of artificial light-harvesting antenna systems and is expected to contribute to the development of next-generation photosynthetic technologies.
